Memorial created 03-15-2006 by Jamie Alea Park |
Mallory Grace Park
December 28 2005 - December 28 2005
This online memorial was created in loving memory of Mallory Grace Park, whose short life story is told throughout this memorial website.
Please sign Mallory's guest book and let us know you came to visit. We will remember Mallory forever.
Our Sweet Mallory was a fighter from the get-go. It has been found that at about 24 days after conception Mallory developed a severe cephalic disorder that caused numerous severe birth defects.
We have been told that she "should have" been an early misacarraige at 9 weeks, but her heart kept going.
At 7 months pregnant we first learned of her condition. Her birth defects included but weren't limited to:
Tetralogy of Fallot~A Heart Disorder
Polydactyly~12 toes
Sever mal-formation of her legs
Limbs were all small for her age
Head was large for her age
Duodenal Atresia~Intestinal Blockage
And over developed Genitalia

Through an Amnio we found her chromosomes were normal, and learned that we were having a girl. We had plenty of appointments to keep on eye on things. On December 16th we learned that she had started having brain damage, either a stroke, or her disorder, or her heart defect had been depriving her brain of good blood and the tissue was starting to turn to fluid.

On December 22, 2005 at an OB appointment to determine the method of birth, we learned that our Angel had returned to Heaven. She was taken out of the care of Doctors, and into the care of the Angels.
We cherish the few memories we have of her, and invite you to share in them as well. http://mallorygracepark.memory-of.com/About.aspx
